So finally the county realizes there is a bad situation at Lakewood and Hammock roads, the main problem being Lakewood traffic trying to enter onto Hammock.
The $170,000 planned to be spent over the next two years may be a help at sometime in the future.
However, the only way of alleviating this problem now, or in the future, is to install three-way stop signs, or heaven forbid, traffic lights, to give Lakewood drivers a safe means of turning onto Hammock Road, and Hammock Road drivers a safe means of turning left onto Lakewood. Put that $170,000 to better use.
