The following people were booked Wednesday, July 28 into the Highlands County Jail:

Daniel Paul Long, 22, of 812 Porsche Ave., Sebring, on charges of petty theft and burglary with assault or battery.

Juan De Dios Lopez, 37, of 219 Ballard Road, Avon Park, was recommitted and sentenced to 45 days in jail for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.

Janelle Jay Pendegrass, 48, of 134 Lake Francis Drive, Lake Placid, remanded to custody and sentenced to 179 days in jail for contempt of court.

Randy Scott Reihart, 19, of 4909 Shad Drive, Sebring, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, grand theft of $300 or more but less than $5,000, grand theft of a firearm, burglary of a dwelling, structure or conveyance and possession of marijuana not more than 20 grams.

Kelvin Lynn Skipper, 55, of Fort Meade, was recommitted and sentenced to 30 days in jail for possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence dropped to reckless driving.

Curtis Paul Townsel, 25, of Frostproof, on a warrant charging violation of probation in reference to resisting an officer without violence.

The following people were booked Thursday, July 29 into the Highlands County Jail:

James Ronald Dillard, 43, of Haines City, on charges of resisting an officer without violence and a public orders crime and a warrant charging failure to appear on a charge of no valid driver's license.

Reginald Denton Knight, 62, of 3332 Thunderbird Road, Sebring, was recommitted and sentenced to 364 days in jail for driving with a suspended/revoked license, third or subsequent offense.

Pedro Valladares Martinez, 27, of Lake Placid, on a charge of lewd or lascivious behavior with a victim 12 years of age up to 16 years of age.

Jeffrey Robert Selph, 37, of 113 Winthrop St., Avon Park, was recommitted and sentenced to 22 months in prison

Clarence Anthony Thomas, 19, of 313 Poinsettia Ave., Lake Placid, on charges of inciting or encouraging a riot and resisting an officer without violence.

Gregory Demetrius Wedlow, 43, of Lake Placid, on warrants charging fraudulent use of credit cards, robbery with a firearm, possession of a weapon or ammo by a convicted Florida felon and cruelty toward a child.

Eva Geraldine White, 20, of 903 Fielder Blvd., Sebring, on a warrant charging grand theft of $300 or more.
