Once upon a time, in a land far, far away called Nevada, there was a happy place. This happy place was called The Mustang Ranch.
There were many people from all walks of life that visited this happy Mustang Ranch. There were doctors, lawyers and Indian chiefs, and lots of politicians. Everyone was happy when they left the Mustang Ranch. You see children, the Mustang Ranch was a house of prostitution and prostitution is legal in Nevada.
One day in 1990, the bad government guys came and arrested the owner and took him away. They said they had some silly reason for doing so, like income tax evasion and racketeering. One of the bad government guys came up with a great idea and said, "Hey, instead of closing up this place, why don't we run it ourselves?" So everyone agreed that it would be a good idea for them to run the Mustang Ranch, and so they did.
But because of their ineptness, their lack of skill for operating a business and their plain stupidity, the government guys run the Mustang Ranch into the ground, lost all the money and closed the doors, shutting down the poor happy place that so many people loved.
The moral of this story leaves us with this question. How can we expect the government to run the banking industry, the auto industry and the health care industry, when they can't even run a whorehouse?
