This is the second letter to the editor I've read comparing the United States to Hitler's Germany.
Ron Carmony, you state that both President Obama and Hitler promised hope and change. Please let us know of any world leader who did not promise hope and change, or words that were not uplifting.
As to the claim that Attorney General Eric Holder is trying to change the gun laws, why has not the NRA made noise about this to the public? But go to MedicineNet.com, gun deaths. The USA is number 1, followed by Brazil and Mexico. This is one title I wish we did not own.
These czars you speak of may report to President Obama, but our laws are made through Congress and the Senate. Now both Congress and the Senate (both parties) voted to bail out the banks and some members of the auto industry. Just think if they did not; no GM, no Chrysler, Wells or Alan Jay; all those people out of work, maybe even your bank!
I am surprised you did not compare how Hitler's Germany invaded Poland in 1939 to President Obama and the U.S .invasion of Iraq. Oops! That was President Bush.
Finally it is President Obama, show some respect, after all, he was the people's choice.
