The Quality Inn Conference Center in Sebring will continue its Community Fun Series cooking classes on Thursday, Jan. 21.
It will be held from 5-6 p.m. and includes free food and cocktail demonstrations and recipe cards as well as free samples, according to Mike Peek, general manager. This class will feature Lobster Bisque and Mystic Bar Vodka Fruit Cocktails.
The event is open to women and men of all ages and hotel guests.
The hotel, which is located at 6525 U.S. 27 N., asks that all attendees bring canned and/or boxed food items for people in Haiti.
In addition to the Community Fun Series food drive effort, Quality Inn is also donating sheets, blankets, pillows and other essentials to help the quake victims.
