Florida's Heartland Rural Economic Development Initiative is hosting a workshop on business incentives.
It will be held from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Jan. 21 at the Heartland Education Consortium, 1096 U.S. 27 N., in Lake Placid.
The cost is $10 for lunch. Attendees may pay at the door.
The training will be provided by: Karl Blischke, Office of Tourism, Trade and Economic Development (financing); Burt Von Hoff, OTTED (Enterprise Zone incentives); Bridget Merrill,Enterprise Florida (rural incentives); Suzanne Paul, Florida Department of Revenue; Marty Wilson, Enterprise Florida (location/expansion incentives).
The workshop is for business owners and their personnel, accountants, CPAs, economic development directors, chamber of commerce directors, and workforce development directors and personnel.
Seating is limited. Reservations are required.
