Kudos to Community Maintenance

Kudos to the Community Maintenance program serviced by the sheriff's office. Neighborhoods change and we were bothered with a pile of construction debris on our street. We were embarrassed and ashamed to have folks come to my yard sale, then all the family were coming for Christmas.

I tried several contacts to get it removed, until finally the sheriff's office said they would come, even though that was more than they strived to do, since they had only a little trailer. But, lo and behold, on a Sunday morning, hours before the family was due to arrive, they came and cleaned it all up! We were so pleased. We are happy to have folks interested and energetic enough to come, even though the homeowners should certainly do it! Thanks again to the Community Maintenance program run by the sheriff's office.

Kudos to Christine's Golf Carts

The week before Christmas I decided to buy a floor mat for our newly acquired golf cart.

I called D and B but they didn't have any and then I remembered my neighbor got a cart from Christine's Golf Shop.

They weren't in the phone book so I asked my neighbor for their address; it is 4320 U.S. 27 N. Telephone number 863-382-6163.

I purchased the mat for $50 and gave my credit card, only to find that they don't take credit cards.

We didn't have $50 in cash and the gentleman told us "Take it and pay me later."

Can you imagine; he didn't even know my name and he even had his helper put the mat in our car.

We went back a half an hour later with the $50 cash. What a wonderful company!
