We have just experienced our second terrorist attack in so many months here at home.
I can understand how a Muslim major in the Army got away with his attack at Fort Hood. The Army is afraid to confront these cases because of political correctness. It doesn't want to be accused of profiling; after all most Muslims are good. I doubt we will ever hear the results of the investigation of this incident.
Now to the latest incident. I cannot believe that the CIA or the FBI or our other intelligence organizations are so lax that they were not aware of what was going on. After all, this kids' father told the world his son "had been radicalized" and was dangerous.
Here is the real shocker. Ms. Napolitano, head of Homeland Security, said "the system worked." If this is so, the outlook for our country and lives is very bleak.
Of course there will be a "big investigation" initiated to try and blame this "dereliction of duty" on somebody. For my part, I think any investigation should first determine how many Islamists or Islamic sympathizers are employed in our intelligence forces.
