A Sebring woman died last week when she was run over by a recreational vehicle.

Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove told the Biloxi Sun Herald that Patricia DeBriyn, 60, and her husband were staying a few days at Cajun RV Park.

Police were called at 7:41 p.m. Wednesday.

"She was in the driveway by herself when somebody was pulling into the park," said Police Chief John Miller. The RV driver wasn't identified.

DeBriyn was taken to Biloxi Regional Medical Center. The coroner said she was pronounced dead at 8:02 p.m. An autopsy showed her chest was crushed.

Police said she was wearing dark clothing. Alcohol was a contributing factor, but the police concluded the death was an accident.

Police said charges were not filed at the scene, but the incident remains under investigation.

"There are circumstances we're still looking into," Miller said.
