So finally the county realizes there is a bad situation at Lakewood and Hammock roads, the main problem being Lakewood traffic trying to enter onto Hammock.
The $170,000 planning to be spent over the next two years may be a help at some time in the future.
However, the only way of alleviating this problem now or in the future is to install three-way stop signs, or heaven forbid, traffic lights to give Lakewood drivers a safe means of turning left into Lakewood from Hammock. Put that $170,000 to better use.
