The following people were booked Wednesday, Feb. 17 into the Highlands County Jail:

Larissa Marie Demers-Floyd, 26, of 3012 State Road 17 N., Apt. 6, Sebring, on warrants charging uttering a forged bill, check or draft, forging a bank bill and grand theft of $300 or more but less than $5,000.

Allan Roy Marasigan, 47, of Avon Park, was recommitted and sentenced to 30 days in jail for battery.

Robert Allen Pauley, 34, of 1520 Oak Ave., Lake Placid, was sentenced to 10 days in jail for knowingly driving while license is suspended, second offense.

Mark Alden Wheeler, 35, of 4324 Lamancha Circle, Sebring, was committed and sentenced to 35 days in jail for resisting an officer without violence.
