Sarah Palin may not be your favorite "champion of intellectual thought, but to characterize her as anti-intellectual is completely unfair and disingenuous. Most of this country is anti-intellectual when it comes to the kind of garbage our current administration is serving up.
Come to think of it, I've rubbed elbows with a lot of "intellectuals" (I ran a think tank foundation for 10 years) and most of the great "thinkers" couldn't accomplish anything of practical value for society. Karl Marx was considered by many to be an intellectual and the results of his thinking didn't work out so well for hundreds of millions of people!
On the other hand, Sarah Palin, for all her "folksiness," is a woman with a solid record of leadership and executive success as governor of our largest state. Meanwhile, the country suffers with an ideologue president who has never accomplished anything other than a book and a presidential campaign.
He has no business, military, foreign policy or executive experience and it shows almost every day. He suppresses his academic records to maintain the politically correct notion of his high intelligence, which is highly in question. As Ollie North put it, "he's in so far over his head it would take sonar to find him!"
As the Palin bashing goes on, Obama and his wrecking crew have the country on the brink of disaster, financial and otherwise. Let's just hope Palin and the Tea Party express can wake up enough Americans to get him and his coterie of utopian liberal friends out of Washington before we give up our place as leader of the Free World and take our place as the leader of the "Third World."
Palin doesn't worry me, but if you're not scared of Obama and his policies, you have your head in a dark place.
