Police blotter

The following people were booked Tuesday, Feb. 16 into the Highlands County Jail:

Timothy Dewayne Anderson, 29, of 2022 Oxnard St., Sebring, on a warrant charging violation of probation in reference to driving while license is suspended or revoked.

Electa Lynn Brown, 26, of 631 Lemon Ave., Sebring, was recommitted and sentenced to 60 days in jail for shoplifting.

Juan Gonzalez Macias, 48, of 156 Richfield Drive, Lake Placid, was recommitted and sentenced to 45 days in jail for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and damaging property.

Katherine Dianne Schindler, 39, of 410 Poinsettia Ave., Sebring, on a warrant charging trafficking in Oxycodone.

Robert Wayne Smith, 32, of 10704 U.S. 98, Sebring, on a charge of possession of a weapon or ammo by a convicted Florida felon and a warrantless violation of probation in reference to driving while license is suspended or revoked.

Richard Conway Strickland, 44, of Sebring, on warrants charging domestic battery by strangulation and false imprisonment.

Phillip Brian Theobald, 44, of 6433 County Road 17, Sebring, on warrants charging violation of probation in reference to driving while license is suspended or revoked and felony DUI, third in 10 years.

Shawn Christopher Thomas, 34, of 400 Meadowland Road, Sebring, was recommitted and sentenced to 30 days in jail for refusing to submit to a blood alcohol content test.

Nicole Estell Vandiver, 34, of 10704 U.S. 98, of Sebring, on warrantless violation of probation in reference to grand theft, giving a false ID and dealing in stolen property.

Shermon Bernetta Ward, 32, of Orlando, on warrants charging violation of probation in reference to grand theft of $300 or more but less than $5,000, fraudulent use of personal ID, forgery and uttering forged bills.

Ariel Froylan Zuniga-Magos, 20, of 169 Hardee St., Lake Placid, was recommitted and sentenced to 75 days in jail for DUI.
