Palin's true heart

This is in response to Mike Lee's letter responding to one of our area's most opinionated writers regarding Sarah Palin.

First, I would like to mention in case your readers do not already know that Mr. Lee has for many years tirelessly worked with the youth of our community as a teacher, youth leader and basketball coach. He has a heart for our young people and them for him. He is an example of the best America has to offer!

Second, after reading Sarah Palin's book, checking out her Web site and watching her in the news, I believe that she also is an example of a patriotic leader that has a true heart for the American people. She knows that the current administrations' big government policies, wild spending sprees and liberal slant to social issues are destroying this great nation that our founding fathers created.

Third, perhaps Mr. Lee, the gentleman you were referring to in your letter feels threatened by Sarah Palin and her conservative views. Perhaps he realizes that she represents the backbone of the American people and it makes him nervous that she and the tea parties sweeping our nation could gain control of our great nation. So, he and many other liberals have to tear apart anything they can to try and smear her good name. Well it won't work! Sarah Palin is on a roll and her credibility is obvious!

Fourth, I firmly believe Mr. Lee, that if all of us who are committed to common sense conservative values stand up and voice our opinions by joining people like Sarah Palin and the tea parties, our great country and the caring, hard-working people who make up this country will once again prosper. With God's help we can be that shining example to future generations (including our precious children) and all nations of a free, democratic society who stand for "liberty and justice for all."
