The following people were booked Wednesday, Feb. 10 into the Highlands County Jail:
John Lewis Dewitt, 21, of Sebring, on a warrant charging child abuse without great harm.
Michael Lawrence Giannino, 33, of 101 Stephanie Lane, Sebring, was recommitted and sentenced to 60 days in jail for knowingly driving while license is suspended, first offense.
Charlene Ann Gordon, 30, of Sebring, on a warrant charging neglect of a child without great harm.
Milton Gray Herndon, 65, of Sebring, was recommitted and sentenced to 90 days in jail for battery.
Tracy Lee Mercer, 38, of 109 Kendal Blvd., Avon Park, on warrants charging dealing in stolen property, false verification of ownership to a pawnbroker, burglary of a dwelling and grand theft of $300 or more but less than $5,000.
