Gallery, Downtown Walk in Sebring

SEBRING - The Gallery and Downtown Walk will be held this evening.

A total of 18 venues will be participating from 5 until 8 p.m.

Participating galleries and stores will feature one-of-a-kind art and gifts. There will also be a special drawing for a gift basket.

BackStage Pass playing at Watering Hole

SEBRING - BackStage Pass will be at the Watering Hole on U.S. 27 in Sebring tonight and Feb. 13 from 9:30 p.m. to 1:45 a.m.

The Golden Era Big Band to play at dance club

SEBRING - The Highlands Social Dance Club hosts ballroom dancing tonight from 7 - 9:30 at the Sebring Lions Club on Sebring Parkway.

The music will be provided by The Golden Era Big Band.

All club dances are open to the public. Appropriate dress is required.

Admission is $5 for members and $7 for nonmembers.

Roaring Twenties Festival slated in Sebring

SEBRING - The 27th annual Roaring Twenties Arts and Crafts Festival will be held from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Feb. 13 in downtown Sebring.

There will be a variety of vendors, food and entertainment.

Lake Placid Saturday Morning Market scheduled

LAKE PLACID - The Lake Placid Saturday Morning Market is scheduled for 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. Feb. 13 at Stuart Park, located at the corner of Interlake Boulevard and Pine Street.

There will be food, wine, pottery, jewelry, arts and crafts, live plants and silks and fresh produce.

Breakfast and lunch will be available to eat there or take out.

AP Library showing movie

SEBRING - The movie "King of Hearts" will be shown Feb. 13 at the Avon Park Library, 100 N. Museum Ave.

There is no charge for the movie, which will begin at 2 p.m.

No movies will be shown at the Lake Placid or Sebring libraries that day.

Ransom Band to play at Duffer's

SEBRING - The Ransom Band will be playing at Duffer's Sports Grille from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Feb. 13. There is no cover charge.

It is located at 6940 U.S. 27 N. in Sebring.

John Davidson to perform at Tanglewood

SEBRING - TV and recording star John Davidson will appear at Tanglewood on Feb. 14 as part of its Winter Concert Series.

Davidson, who has been in show business for more than 40 years, was the host of the "Hollywood Squares" for three years and "The John Davidson Show" for two years and made 80 appearances on "The Tonight Show," according to information provided by Tanglewood.

The doors and the snack bar open at 6:15 p.m. The show begins at 7.

Tickets are $12.
