Three Sebring residents were injured just before 11 p.m. Sunday in a two-vehicle accident near the intersection of Memorial Drive and Haddock Road.

Babra Taylor, 60, was taken to a hospital in Orlando after suffering critical injuries in the crash, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. A passenger in her car, Amy Miller, 22, was sent to a Lakeland hospital after also being critically injured.

A passenger in the second car, Prissilla Adams, 18, was treated for minor injuries at Florida Hospital Heartland Division. The driver, Brian Johnson, 19, was not hurt.

Taylor's 2004 Ford Crown Victoria, for unknown reasons, was sitting still in the northbound lane of Memorial Drive, the FHP said. It was struck in the left rear side by a 1989 Nissan two-door vehicle driven by Johnson that was also northbound.

Adams was the only person involved who was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the FHP. No charges have been filed at this time and whether alcohol was a factor is pending the conclusion of the investigation.

Total damages in the accident were $35,000.
