The following people were booked Thursday, Feb. 4 into the Highlands County Jail:

Randy Lorenzo Bonds, 22, of Lake Wales, on a warrant charging violation of probation in reference to strong arm robbery.

Stephen John Edmonds, 24, of 1607 Oleaster Ave., Sebring, on charges of knowingly driving while license is suspended or revoked, possession of a suspended driver's license and carrying a prohibited weapon.

Robert Alan Jolley, 54, of 1126 Sycamore St., Lake Placid, on warrants charging driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, DUI and property and damage, two counts, and DUI with serious bodily injury to another.

Carlos Flores Moyet, 52, of 3121 Dolphin Drive, Sebring, on charges of possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Tyrone James Nichols, 18, of Sebring, on charges of assault and battery.

Leonardo Edil Rosado, 35, of 233 Park Crest Terrace, Sebring, was sentenced to 60 days in jail for knowingly driving while license is suspended or revoked, second offense.

Joshua Alton Thompson, 25, of Wauchula, was recommitted and sentenced to 60 days in jail for resisting an officer without violence.

James Russell Van Winkle, 48, of Ocala, was recommitted and sentenced to 120 days in jail for driving while license is suspended, second offense.

Juan Miguel Vera-Vita, 39, of Miami, on a warrant charging violation of probation in reference to possession of marijuana over 20 grams.

The following people were booked Friday, Feb. 5 through Sunday, Feb. 7 into the Highlands County Jail:

David Bautista, 21, of 334 E. Wilhite Drive, Avon Park, on charges of possession of cocaine and destroying evidence.

Rudy Casso, 35, of Zolfo Springs, on a charge of cocaine possession and a Hardee County warrantless violation of probation in reference to cocaine possession.

Harold Dewayne Dodd, 51, of Lake Wales, on a warrant charging grand theft of $300 or more but less than $5,000.

Cedrick Antonio Hamilton, 30, of 101 Delaware Ave., Avon Park, on charges of grand theft of $300 or more but less than $5,000 and burglary of an unoccupied dwelling while unarmed.

Angel Luis Hernandez, 21, of 1926 Queen Ave., Sebring, on charges of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and distribution of marijuana.

Brandi Candace Jimenez, 23, of 800 N. Verona Ave., Avon Park, on warrants charging possession of Oxycodone and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Rodriguez Lamont Latson, 41, of 446 W. Perry Drive, Avon Park, on charges of operating a motor vehicle without a valid license and possession of cocaine.

Raymond Jay Nieves, 47, on charges of possession of cocaine and destroying evidence.

Marvin Chermine Owens, 37, of 100 State Drive, Sebring, on a charge of driving while license is suspended, habitual offender.

Ernest Jack Phillips, 19, of Fort Meade, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of methamphetamine with the intent to sell or manufacture.

Brent Scott Resch, 41, of 19 Ranch Drive, Lake Placid, on charges of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Robert Jose Rodriguez, 26, of Lake Wales, was sentenced to 10 days in jail on an affiant of non compliance in reference to knowingly driving while license is suspended or revoked.

Latrevia Danielle Strange, 19, of 440 W. Gobourne St., Avon Park on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Kenneth Robert Wacaster, 26, of 3414 Beck Ave., Sebring, on warrants charging dealing in stolen property and grand theft of $300 or more but less than $5,000 and a charge of violation of probation in reference to burglary of an unoccupied structure.
