Knoll-Century Hill suit set for May

SEBRING - The lawsuit against the Knoll-Century Hill Homeowners Association is set for a one day non-jury trial on May 5.

A motion for summary judgment filed by the attorneys for Aaron Seward, who filed the suit, had been scheduled for Dec. 30, but was continued until April 7, the original trial date, according to court records.

The records say the defendant's attorney dealt with an office fire that prevented him from conducting business for a few weeks.

Kalinowski case continued to April

SEBRING - A pretrial conference Wednesday in the murder case of Andrew Kalinowski was used simply to set another one for April 8.

Kalinowski, 23, is charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder in connection with the June 2008 shooting death of Walter Enrique Vilchez.

The case is scheduled for a jury trial on April 12, but could be pushed back.
