I was reading the food favorites in Sunday's Highlands Today the other day and thought I would give my opinion on a great restaurant.
We have lived out in Placid Lakes for 32 years and were social members of Placid Lakes Country Club for many years and ate there almost every Saturday evening with many friends that played golf, bridge.
Then they started building all the new restaurants in Sebring and we started to drive up there. They are all great and we enjoyed them for years.
Then one Saturday night it rained so hard I said to my husband let's try the country club again, people were telling us how good it was. We were so pleased from the moment we walked in the door and saw how clean and nice it looked (you could eat off the floor.) We decided to try it and now I must say have been there many times. It was good to see so many or our old friends still around.
If you get a chance to drive out to Placid Lakes, I'm sure you will be satisfied with your meal.
