It seems that the "Hate letters" letter of Sept. 18 slipped by Highlands Today's requirement of letters avoiding personal attacks on other letter writers.
Be that as it may, let me remind that writer that our Constitution stills holds. The retired teacher has the privilege of freedom of speech as well as you do. Obama may have been elected by a majority, however, I did not vote for him. I do not consider him my "president".
By the way, when some few months ago, our then President Bush, was often being reviled in many Letters to the Editor page. I do not recall any letters of yours defending him. So it seems that although the sauce may be "good for the goose," you, my lady, do not believe it is just as good for the "gander."
