Adel Wilson wrote a letter expressing dismay that a liquor store was opening next to Lake Placid Middle School in "the Bible Belt town of Lake Placid."
According to John 2:1-11, Jesus changed water into wine as His first miracle.
Surely, He would not have done so if drinking wine was any reason to be ashamed.
I'm quite sure that the store has no intention of selling alcohol to middle school students, so what's the concern?
