Oktoberfest vendors being sought

Vendors are being sought for the second annual Oktoberfest on Oct. 17.

The Avon Park Main Street Community Redevelopment Agency and the Avon Park Chamber of Commerce are hosting this event from 3-8 p.m. on the newly remodeled Museum Avenue.

The event will offer food, fun, oompah and chrome. There will be German food and music, beer and other beverages, a car show and swap meet as well as other fun activities being planned.

Applications for food vendors, non-food vendors, non-profit vendors, Swap Meet vendors are now available at the Avon Park Chamber, 28 E. Main St.

Non-profit groups pay $15 while all other vendors pay $30 fees.

The application must be accompanied by check or money order for the exhibitor fee and be turned in by Oct. 10.
