The following people were booked Tuesday, Sept. 8 into the Highlands County Jail:

Samantha Lynn Barfield, 25, of 724 Maple Ave., Sebring, on a charge of grand vehicular theft.

Winston Isidore Francois, 32, of 107 Montigo Drive, Sebring, on charges of possession of cocaine with the intent to sell, tampering with physical evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Melissa Jan Manley, 31, of 908 N. Ridgewood Drive, Sebring, on a warrant charging violation of probation in reference to criminal use of a personal ID.

Eddie Allen Turner, 46, of Hollywood, on warrants charging seven counts of giving false verification of ownership to a pawnbroker and dealing in stolen property and one count of grand theft of $300 or more but less than $5,000.
