For 44 days, Charley, Frances, Ivan and Jeanne wreaked havoc - $45 billion in damage.

Do you recall the four hurricanes of Aug. 13, Sept. 5, Sept. 16 and Sept. 26? Did you run out of water and food? Did you sleep in a house with no air conditioning? Was the roof torn off? Did you stand in lines to buy gasoline?

Reporter Gary Pinnell is writing about the four of what are still ranked among the top 10 costliest hurricanes in the U.S.
