A 15-year-old boy was arrested on a warrant Thursday accusing him of inappropriately touching a 10-year-old girl.
The juvenile was charged with lewd/lascivious behavior on a victim less than 12 years of age and the offender was less than 18 years of age, a second-degree felony.
On Sept. 13, the 15-year-old and the victim were reportedly in the garage at his home when the juvenile shut the garage door halfway and started kissing her, according to the arrest report.
"(The girl) stated she tried to get away, but (the 15-year-old) was too strong and would not let her," Highlands County Sheriff's Deputy Michael Parker wrote in the arrest repot.
Authorities say the 15-year-old then started to inappropriately touch her. This was done three times, the report stated.
The girl started banging on the garage door, which caused the inappropriate touching to stop. She then got up and left, police said.
