Big Insurance, with its excessive profiteering and exploitation has shown itself a cruel and inhumane master and should no longer be allowed to exclusively administer America's health care.
The current health insurance system, which allows an elite few to amass unfathomable wealth from the suffering of millions of people, is inherently immoral and directly opposed to core American values.
Health reform with a strong public option will go far in righting this terrible injustice and breaking the stranglehold that profit-hungry insurance companies have on America's working class. It is long overdue.
When Americans have a choice, insurance companies will become more responsive. We deserve a choice. We deserve an option. And so do our children, and theirs.
