Halloween bash planned at dance club
SEBRING - The Highlands Social Dance Club will be hosting a Halloween party tonight from 7 - 9:30 at the Sebring Lions Club on Sebring Parkway.
There will be ballroom dance music, a costume contest and some surprise entertainment.
Admission is only $5 for both members and non-members.

BackStage Pass to play at Watering Hole
SEBRING - BackStage Passwill be at the Watering Hole in Sebring today and Oct. 31 from 9:30 p.m. to 1:45 a.m.
There will be a Halloween costume party. The winner will receive a $100 gift certificate, while the second-place finisher will get a $50 gift certificate and third place a $25 gift certificate.
Wild Turkey hosting Halloween party
AVON PARK - The Wild Turkey Tavern will hold its 29th annual Halloween party/anniversary tonight beginning at 8.
There will be live music provided by He Said She Said.
A costume contest is planned with cash prizes.
Last weekend for Terror Trail
SEBRING - The Highlands County Humane Society's Terror Trail will be open today and Oct. 31 from 7:30 - 10 p.m. at its location on Haywood Taylor Boulevard near Sebring Regional Airport.
The cost is $7 per person.

Dance planned at Sebring Village
SEBRING - A Halloween dance will be held from 7:30 -10:30 p.m. Oct. 31 at Sebring Village Clubhouse, which is located one mile behind Walmart off Schumacher Road.
The cost is $5 for nonmembers. There is no charge for members.
Don and Allen will provide the music.

Free movies scheduled at libraries
SEBRING - Free movies will be shown at the public libraries in Highlands County on Oct. 31. They begin at 2 p.m.
The lineup includes: "Stagecoach" at Avon Park, 100 N. Museum Ave.; "Inkheart" at Lake Placid, 205 W. Interlake Blvd.; and "Bringing Down The House" at Sebring, 319 W. Center Ave.
