I am writing in response to the Oct. 26 article in Highlands Today titled, "Uninsured pregnant women eligible for free dental care."
The article states that uninsured pregnant women and those receiving Medicaid are now eligible for free dental care. It also states, "The county has a high teen pregnancy rate and that's really what's driving the wheel."
So, I behave responsibly and work all my life without ever drawing so much as $1 in government freebies, and who gets the free dental care?
Well, I need dental work, which I can't afford but, unfortunately for me now, I didn't engage in risky behavior.
I wish people would wake up and see what's happening to our country.
