The following people were booked Thursday, Oct. 22 into the Highlands County Jail:

David Bautista, 20, of 101 E. Kendall Ave., Avon Park, on Polk County warrants charging grand theft and burglary of a residence.

Luis Antonio Linares Castillo, 44, of Hollywood, was recommitted and sentenced to 10 days in jail for failure to appear on a charge of no vehicle registration.

Melkeista Rashawnda Hilton, 25, of 1206 Odessa Ave., Avon Park, was recommitted and sentenced to 30 days in jail for petty theft.

Christopher Shawn Ingram, 19, of 963 Gardenia St., Lake Placid, was recommitted and sentenced to five days in jail for operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver's license.

Donald Wayne Jolley, 41, of Lake Placid, was recommitted and sentenced to 45 days in jail for battery.

Cale Monroe McKinney, 29, of Labelle, on warrants charging failure to appear on charges of dealing in stolen property, burglary of a structure, grand theft, burglary of a conveyance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of prescription drugs without a prescription, possession of morphine and possession of marijuana.
