Colby not cited by deputies

Since Highlands Today's publication of the Oct. 14 article concerning Preston Colby, Highlands Today has confirmed that on the day in question Colby was not issued a notice to appear in court. Highlands Today regrets the error

Jenkins a vet employment rep

Due to incorrect information received from the city of Sebring, an error appeared in a story in Tuesday's newspaper on the Veteran's Day Parade. Howard Jenkins is a local veterans employment representative with the Highlands One-Stop Career Center at Heartland Workforce, while the story stated otherwise.
