This is a reply to Arthur P. Allyn's letter.

First: Hate is a strong word to use no matter who uses it and it's a word I'd never use.

I think Sheriff Benton is doing a wonderful job. In her last two elections, my husband and I had her election signs in our yard. As a matter of fact, Sheriff Benton's mom and dad are neighbors and friends of ours.

Second: I know the mall is a private enterprise, therefore the owner should hire their own security.

Third: Don't worry, no one's taxes have ever been used for anything that goes on at the mall.

Fourth: I guess you have no kids who go to the mall or you would know how much it means to the teens and it keeps the kids off the streets and out of trouble.

Finally: I want to thank you for all the knowledge, for the most part, you have said in your letter. It's not so differenent from what I said in my letter, just worded differently.
