Lights of Love debuts at Good Shepherd Hospice

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Good Shepherd Hospice will be holding its inaugural Lights of Love tree-lighting ceremony at 6 p.m. Dec. 1 at 3003 Herring Ave.

Mike and Gayle Chapman will light the tree at the Good Shepherd Sun Room.

The Lights of Love will decorate a tree at the Sun Room and shine throughout the holiday season as a symbol of the light loved ones have brought into the lives of their family and friends. For a $25 donation, a person can memorialize a loved one, honor a compassionate caregiver or remember a treasured friend with a light that will shine throughout the holiday season.

At the ceremony, participants will light a candle as they recite the names of their loved ones.

The Heartland Harmonizers Barbershop Chorus and Justin Worden will provide musical entertainment. Refreshment will be served after the ceremony.

The event is free and open to the public.
