Closures and garbage pick ups for the Thanksgiving holiday

AVON PARK

There is no garbage pick up in the city of Avon Park on Thursday, Nov. 26. Thursday's pick up will be on Wednesday, Nov. 25. All other pick ups remain the same.

Avon Park City Hall will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 26 and Friday, Nov. 27, reopening on Monday, Nov. 30.

SEBRING

There is no garbage pick up in the city of Sebring on Thursday, Nov. 26. Thursday's pick up will be on Wednesday, Nov. 25. Friday's pick up remains the same.

Sebring City Hall will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 26 and Friday, Nov. 27, reopening on Monday, Nov. 30. Public works and utilities will also be closed, reopening on Nov. 30.

LAKE PLACID

There are no changes in garbage pick up over the Thanksgiving holiday in the town of Lake Placid.

The town offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 26 and Friday, Nov. 27, reopening on Monday, Nov. 30.

There will be no garbage pick up in Highlands County on Thursday, Nov. 26. Thursday's pick up will be on Wednesday, Nov. 25; all other pick ups will remain the same. There will be no yard waste pick up over the Thanksgiving holiday.

Highlands County Courthouse is closed on Thursday, Nov. 26 and Friday, Nov. 27, re-opening on Nov. 30.

Highlands County banks will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 26 and will reopen Nov. 27.

Schools are closed.

Post offices will be closed and there will be no mail delivery on Thursday, Nov. 26. Normal post office hours and mail delivery will resume on Nov. 27.
