Spiritual turmoil

I agree with Roy Dettwiler's letter published in your Nov.18 edition in that I also believe our country's current problems are largely spiritual.

I've recently heard on the news that groups of activists: homosexual, pro-abortion or whoever they are this week, are protesting pro-life teaching or prayer breakfasts in the schools, or a cross on a teacher's wall due to a violation of "separation of church and state."

The constitution states that "congress shall not establish a state religion nor prohibit the free exercise thereof." How can such a simple statement be so grossly misinterpreted?

I think that if I were the devil, I would do it just like it's being done right now. May God forgive America for neglecting Him and all He's done for us.
