Reading the letter from Betty Prescott in the Nov. 4 edition of the Highlands Today only increased my feeling of gloom and despair about the way our country is speedily heading down the drain.
I had heard the news about no Social Security increase for 2010. In the very next story, it was reported that Brother Obama has plans to send $7.5 billion in aid to Pakistan.
Appears as though we now know where his concerns and loyalties lie. He's gotta keep his friends and relatives happy. Wait untill he reveals his new amnesty plan.
As Paul Harvey used to say, "Stand by for the news."
