Police executed a search warrant at a Fifth Street home early Thursday morning and say they found a woman sitting fully clothed on a just-flushed toilet before charging her with drug and weapons counts.
Pinkie Ann Brown, 50, of 4807 5th St., Sebring, was charged with felony counts of possession of a weapon or ammo by a convicted felon and destroying evidence, as well as misdemeanor charge of marijuana possession.
She remained in the Highlands County Jail Friday under a $45,000 bond.
Members of the Highlands County Sheriff's Office's Special Response Team (SRT) knocked on Brown's door to serve a search warrant. Authorities say they saw the suspect look at them before running toward the back of the house, according to the arrest report.
SRT members forced their way into the home and found Brown there in the bathroom with all her clothes on, sitting on the flushed commode.
"The defendant Brown was questioned as to why she ran to the bathroom area upon seeing law enforcement, which she stated she had to use the bathroom," Sebring Police Sgt. Curtis Hart wrote in the arrest report.
SRT members reportedly found a purple cloth bag normally used to hide illegal drugs in the trash can. Inside was a green substance that field tested positive for marijuana.
Authorities also found small green particles around the interior of the toilet bowl, the report stated.
They also found $193 in cash in denominations generally associated with street-level drug sales, $502 in larger denominations and a .22 caliber two-shot firearm.
Authorities later learned that Brown had a March 2004 felony conviction.
