Two men were treated for injuries they suffered early Sunday morning in a reported stabbing incident that happened on Santiago Street.
Highlands County Sheriff's Sgt. Darin Hood said William Etheridge, 41, was treated and released, while Rocky Watson, 29, was taken to an out-of-town hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.
A third man, Ethan Woodard, 30, was also involved in the altercation, Hood said. The sergeant would not reveal the exact type of injuries the two suffered.
Investigators are trying to determine which of the three men was the aggressor and charges are pending the outcome of that investigation, Hood said.
