Police blotter

The following people were booked Friday, Oct. 30 through Sunday, Nov. 1 into the Highlands County Jail:

Kelly Suarez Alvarez, 39, of 219 Blue Moon Ave., Lake Placid, on charges of possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Michael Joseph Cavallaro, 35, of 3610 King Drive, Sebring, on a charge of possession of cocaine.

Ronald Dean Craven, 42, of 4700 Granada Ave., Sebring, on warrants charging grand theft of $300 or more but less than $5,000 and dealing in stolen property.

Sidney Aaron Gann, 22, of 201 NE Easter Way, Lake Placid, on charges of possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Juan Luis Gonzalez, 45, of Pembroke Pines, on a warrant charging violation of probation in reference to trafficking in marijuana.

Brandon Daniel Guzman, 19, of 4200 E. County Road 64, Avon Park, on charges of aggravated fleeing/attempting to elude a law enforcement officer with injury, operating a motor vehicle without a valid license,

James Christy Hill, 41, of 1240 Schlosser Road, Sebring, on charges of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, first offense, and harming a public servant or family.

James David Jestes, 48, of Avon Park, on warrants charging grand theft of $20,000 but less than $100,000, burglary of a structure or conveyance while unarmed, grand theft of $10,000 or more, grand vehicular theft and theft of $300 or more but less than $5,000.

Jeri Jonelle Nichol, 24, of Lake Placid, on charges of battery on an officer and resisting an officer with violence.

Steven Keith Thompson, 48, of 2525 Hartt Road, Sebring, on warrants charging grand theft of $300 or more but less than $5,000 and dealing in stolen property.

Ramiro Vasquez, 40, of Lake Placid, on a charge of felony battery.
