It is hard for me to imagine anyone complaining about not getting a good night's sleep because of planes flying and disturbing her peaceful night's rest. Does she think the young men and women in Iraq, Afghanistan and other countries around the world are getting a good night's rest? It is better to have planes flying than bombs dropping. I for one would be happy to give her a set of ear plugs.
My son spent 23 years in the Air wing of the U.S. Marine Corps. I had many sleepless nights wondering if he would return safe and sound. We missed many celebrations during that period of time but he was doing what he wanted for himself and his country.
On behalf of myself and the ladies of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 69 we say "go get 'em fly boys" and keep up the good work. And thank you for doing whatever it takes to keep this wonderful country we live in safe from oppositions to that we can pursue our liberties.
