The following people were booked Tuesday, May 19 into the Highlands County Jail:

Shovawn Michael Baker, 23, of 726 Shirley St., Sebring, on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, fleeing/eluding law enforcement and operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.

Derrick Eugene Brathwaite, 22, of Waverly, on charges of aggravated fleeing/eluding law enforcement and driving while license is suspended, first offense.

Darren Randle Byrd, 40, of 3210 Lakeview Drive, Sebring, was recommitted and sentenced to 30 days in jail for possession of Clonazepam and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, first offense.

William Alston Clarke, 25, of 229 Montego Drive, Sebring, on warrants charging criminal use of another person's personal ID information and illegally destroying computer data or programs with the purpose of executing a scheme to defraud or obtaining property.

Alfredo Suarez Cruz, 33, of 339 NE Augusta, Lake Placid, on four counts of sexual assault.

Mekiala Shawntaga Fedd, 23, of Sebring, on a charge of cruelty toward a child without great harm.

Mandy Jane Fields, 44, of 300 Robin Hood Terrace, Sebring, was recommitted and sentenced to 30 days in jail for extortion or threats.

Christopher Allen Horton, 28, of 2509 Bluff Hammock Road, Lorida, was recommitted and sentenced to 90 days in jail for fraudulent use of credit cards, fraudulently obtaining property under $20,000 and grand theft of $5,000 or more.

Stephanie Michelle Kilisz, 27, of Zolpho Springs, on warrants charging failure to appear on charges of petty theft and possession of methamphetamine.

Michael Ramirez, 41, of 3269 Country Hills Apartments, Sebring, was recommitted and sentenced to 20 days in jail for driving while license is suspended, first offense.

Konstantinos Vassilakopoulos, 47, of 5616 Granada Blvd., Sebring, on a Broward County warrant charging bigamy.
