The following people were booked Thursday, April 30 into the Highlands County Jail:

Anthony Jamar Carlton, 19, of Wauchula, on a Lee County warrant charging violation of probation in reference to possession of cocaine.

Ramon Lopez Castellano, 29, of 30 Lakeview Suites, Lake Placid, on warrants charging driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs (DUI) and causing serious bodily injury to another.

Troy Leon Gordon, 37, of Avon Park, on warrants charging felony battery (prior conviction) and burglary with assault or battery.

Darrell Demetris Hodges, 29, of 320 E. Fred Conner St., Avon Park, was committed and sentenced to 179 in jails or pay a $100 purge for non support of children or spouse.

Carlie Ann McCarthy, 38, of 3652 Broken Arrow, Sebring, on a charge of DUI, third violation.

Alberto Perez, 34, on warrants charging official misconduct and threats or extortion.

Andrea Leondra Wilson, 20, of Lake Placid, on charges of battery of an officer, firefighter or EMT, battery and resisting an officer with violence.
