Juan Carlos Rivera, 19, was reported missing from a residence on Mercedes Street in Sebring after a dispute with his family, said Lt. Kenny Johnson of Highlands County Sheriff's Office. The dispute occurred last night at about 6:30 p.m. Rivera fled on foot.
Rivera is bipolar and off his medication and could be a danger to himself and others according to his mother, Johnson said.
Rivera is 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighs 185 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
The sheriff's department has issued a Be On The Lookout alert for Rivera.
