The following people were booked Tuesday, March 24 into the Highlands County Jail:

Henry Joseph Baer, 41, of Sebring, on a charge of aggravated battery.

Julio Cesar Esquivel, 18, of 728 Concert Drive, Lake Placid, on a charge of exhibiting a destructive device or weapon.

Omar Masterkeyla Hillman, 26, of Arcadia, on charges of possession of marijuana with the intent to sell, possession of marijuana over 20 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Karen Elayn Michelsen, 53, of Des Moines, Iowa, on warrants charging violation of probation in reference to possession of cocaine with an attempt to purchase and purchasing cocaine.

Carol Lynn Staton, 43, of Ona, on a charge of driving while license is suspended, third or subsequent offense.
