Thank You

The residents of Tanglewood presented the American Cancer Society (Highlands County) a check for $55,500 on March 9. Tanglewood residents are the leaders in private donations to the American Cancer Society in Highlands County for the sixth consecutive year. One hundred percent of the money raised was earmarked for cancer research.

A gigantic thank you to all residents that supported our effort in the fight against this terrible disease called cancer. A special thanks to the 400-plus volunteers who worked so hard and spent many hours in support of our cause and goal. Also thank you to entertainer Bob Weed who donated his time and entertainment. Bob has been with us for all 10 years of this great benefit.
