SEBRING Traffic on U.S. 27 North was creeping along at a snail's pace late Monday afternoon as emergency personnel cleaned up two separate accidents that were only a few feet apart.
Seven vehicles total were involved in the two fender-benders. One person was injured and taken from the accident site by ambulance.
Sebring High School student Michael Cave was one of those involved in what seemed to be the second accident. He said he was stopped because of traffic and then his 1992 Ford Taurus was hit from behind by a Ford Ranger pickup truck, which had been struck by a third vehicle.
No one else involved appeared hurt and there was no other information at press time as to what caused the accidents or the name of the person who was injured.
