The following people were booked Monday, June 15 into the Highlands County Jail:

Rosetta Dawn Chawla, 33, of Wauchula, on charges of obtaining a controlled substance by forgery, trafficking in drugs and fraudulent possession of blank prescription forms.

Dustin Heath Green, 24, on a warrant charging falsely impersonating an officer.

Jeri Jonelle Nichol, 24, of Lake Placid, on warrants charging contributing to the delinquency of a child, cruelty toward a child without great harm, selling or giving alcohol to a person under 21 years of age and neglect of a child without great harm.

Bryan Edward Todd, 37, of 3523 Hawk St., Sebring, was recommitted and sentenced to six months in jail for attempted possession of cocaine.

The following people were booked Tuesday, June 16 into the Highlands County Jail:

Oscar Duran Badillo, 26, of 804 N. Anoka Ave., Avon Park, was recommitted and sentenced to 40 days in jail for knowingly driving while license is suspended or revoked, second offense.

David Bautista, 20, of 2504 W. Kent Road, Avon Park, on warrants charging grand theft of $300 or more but less than $5,000, damaging property/criminal mischief $200 and under and burglary of an unoccupied dwelling while unarmed.

Larry Junior Coker, 39, of 816 S. Florida Ave., Avon Park, on warrants charging burglary with assault or battery and possession of cocaine with the intent to sell.

Robert Alan McClay, 37, of 1824 Grove Ave., Sebring, was committed and sentenced to 30 days in jail for knowingly driving while license is suspended or revoked, second offense.

Gary Edward Meleski, 29, of 4034 Thompson Ave., Sebring, was recommitted and sentenced to 30 days in jail for knowingly driving while license is suspended or revoked, first offense.

Lorenzo Ramirez, 28, of Palmetto, was recommitted and sentenced to 10 days in jail for knowingly driving while license is suspended or revoked, first offense.

Timothy Lee Snyder, 48, of 5101 E. Butler Road, Avon Park, was recommitted and sentenced to 60 days in jail for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, second offense.

The following people were booked Wednesday, June 17 into the Highlands County Jail:

James Erick Davidson, 21, of 100 Dallas St., Avon Park, on a charge of cocaine possession.

Derrin Lee Davis, 24, of 3215 Sparkling Drive, Sebring, on warrants charging grand theft of $300 or more, fraudulent use of a credit card and criminal use of personal ID information.

Joseph Christopher Esoff, 22, of Lake Placid, on a charge of aggravated battery on a person 65 years of age or older.

Jed Lucas Grant, 22, of Miami, on Miami-Dade County warrants charging violation of probation in reference to attempted strong armed robbery, battery and petty theft and a warrant charging grand theft.

Juan Ramon Robinson, 27, of 1733 Orange Blossom Ave., Sebring, was recommitted and sentenced to 60 days in jail for knowingly driving while license is suspended or revoked, first offense.

Ortland Clifford Williams, 21, of Lake Placid, on charges of felony battery, kidnapping/false imprisonment and petty theft.
