AP Meals on Wheels gets good start

AVON PARK --

The Avon Park Meals on Wheels program had a "successful" first meeting last Monday, said Paul Devlin, president.

Those attending elected officers, approved by-laws and formulated a policy manual using the Sebring Meals on Wheels program as the model, he said.

The new group will be joining the Meals on Wheels Association of America.

Along with Devlin, newly-elected officers include: Richard Reinhardt, vice president; Roberta Creech, secretary; and John Jeffo, treasurer.
