Fire department thankful for contributions

On behalf of the Muscular Dystrophy Association, the West Sebring Volunteer Fire Department would like to thank the patrons of Highlands County who donated their spare change and bills during our annual MDA Boot Drive, which was held from 8:30-10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 18 at the intersection of Sebring Parkway and U.S. 27.

A total of $1,146.43 was raised, which is enough to send two children to summer camp in Sarasota.

The generosity of the community members of Highlands County is genuinely appreciated.
