Highlands County Sheriff's deputies arrested a man suspected of several car burglaries in the Grand Prix area of town.
Tad Bennett was seen inside a burglarized vehicle by a neighbor, according to the sheriff's office. When the neighbor confronted him, Bennett supposedly ran into the woods. Deputies brought K-9 units into the area and tracked the suspect into the woods, where he was arrested without incident.
Deputies are still investigating the case.
